What you’ll do
Visit a bonsai nursery in Fukuoka. See a wide range of species and bonsai styles cultivated by the gardeners. Learn more about bonsai techniques while exploring the grounds. Then, join the bonsai master in a private workshop where you can select and shape your own bonsai tree.

Shaping a Miniature World
Nestled amid Fukuoka’s rural panorama of rolling mountains and expansive rice fields stands one of the region’s few bonsai nurseries. At this Fukuoka-based bonsai garden, located outside of the city center in an elegant alcove oasis of artfully tailored aesthetics surrounded by natural splendor, dive deeper into the breathtaking world of bonsai. With your own hands, shape a reflection of nature in miniature form, and engage with a lineage that bridges both art and environment.
