The Daisetsuzan Mountain Range is located about an hour north of the Central Hokkaido city of Asahikawa. The town of Kamikawa-cho, based at the foot of Daisetsuzan’s highest peak, boasts some of the most spectacular views of the mountain range. Our Snowcat tour is guided by a skilled staff that takes you climbing slowly through rolling hills and forests. In Hokkaido’s short summer, you will see beautiful fields of flowers, and in the long, harsh winter, you will see trees standing majestically against an endless blanket of deep, white snow.
